Maison Trimbach’s winemaking legacy began in 1626, and for nearly four centuries, twelve generations of dedicated winemakers and ambassadors have upheld the family’s unwavering passion for Alsace wines. In 1985, Jean Trimbach joined the family team, lending his expertise in export and marketing to work alongside his uncle Hubert.
No wine embodies Trimbach’s intensely mineral signature more than the legendary Riesling from Clos Ste. Hune, a prized parcel within the Grand Cru vineyard Rosacker. Widely regarded as a world-class wine, Clos Ste. Hune is just one shining example in Trimbach’s outstanding portfolio. From the precise, bone-dry village Riesling to the steely, long-lived Cuvée Frédéric Emile, Trimbach wines exemplify elegance. Their Pinot Gris stands out for its richness and balance, while the aromatic and complex Gewurztraminer captivates. The Vendanges Tardives and Sélection de Grains Nobles further showcase the estate’s dedication to crafting sensational wines of depth and character.
We are honored to welcome Jean Trimbach to New York to host this very special dinner. Jean will showcase a range of Trimbach wines that will give you a real insider’s view of this brilliant and historic estate.
