Located 270 to 290 meters above sea level on the top of the hill, Bricco Asili is arguably the best parcel in the famous Asili vineyard in Barbaresco. It was originally purchased by the Ceretto’s in 1969, and the winery was constructed shortly after in 1973. The first vintage was 1974. Asili’s soil consists of calcareous marl with magnesium and manganese, which is perfect for producing wines where structure meets elegance. Asili’s trademark finesse and enticing perfume are even more pronounced from the Bricco parcel at the summit of the hill. The balance of acidity, fruit, and structure ensures the long aging of this truly stunning wine.
