This amazing gastronomic dinner experience combines seasonal white truffles with the greatest traditional wines of Piedmont. Our amazing lineup includes - Bartolo Mascarello, Giuseppe Rinaldi, Bruno Giacosa, and Giacomo Conterno.
For many years, Cantina Mascarello has been the gatekeeper of traditional Barolo. Maria Teresa inherited the estate from her father, Bartolo, who had succeeded his father, Giulio. Maria is dedicated to preserving the traditional style of the wines, producing only one Barolo—a blend of her four crus: Cannubi, San Lorenzo, and Rue in Barolo, and Rocche in La Morra. This approach has been the hallmark of the Mascarello family for generations.
Giuseppe (Beppe) Rinaldi makes beautifully scented Barolos, which are also some of Piedmont's most soulful, combining mineral complexity with elegantly floral aromas.
Bruno Giacosa was a pioneer in discovering the individual qualities of each vineyard in both Barolo and Barbaresco. A true champion of terroir, Bruno produced a stunning array of the greatest wines in Piedmont. His daughter Bruna has now taken the helm and is continuing the tradition. You will taste Bruno's finest Barolos - Collina Rionda, Falletto and Rocche del Falletto, as well as one of his most famous Barbarescos, Santo Stefano.
Giacomo Conterno is Barolo royalty, renowned for producing exceptional wines since the early 1900s. In the 1920s, Giacomo created one of the first Barolo Riservas specifically for long aging, which he later named Monfortino. In the 1950s, Giacomo retired, and his sons Giovanni and Aldo took over the estate. However, Aldo left in 1969 to start his own winery. When Giovanni passed away in 2004, his son Roberto, who had been working alongside him since 1988, assumed control. Roberto continues the tradition of beautifully hand-crafted Barolos, staying true to the style of his father and grandfather. His Monfortino is considered one of the world's greatest wines.
